Developer Policy

Our goal is to have a great developer community where our customers can use their data from DailyStory to create new and interesting solutions to their problems, integrate with other platforms, or build new integrations with custom solutions.

We take the security of our customer’s data seriously. Use of the API requires an authentication token. It is your responsibility to keep this token secure. All API requests must be made over SSL. Non-SSL requests will be rejected.

In addition, you will not use the API in connection with or to promote any products, services, or materials that constitute, promote, or are used primarily for the purpose of dealing in spyware, adware, or other malicious programs or code, counterfeit goods, items subject to U.S. embargo, unsolicited mass distribution of email ("spam"), multi-level marketing proposals, hate materials, hacking, surveillance, interception, or descrambling equipment, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, or otherwise offensive content, stolen products, and items used for theft, hazardous materials, or any illegal activities.

Use of Data

Use of customer data must be transparent by disclosing the collection, use and sharing of the data. You must limit your use of the data to the practices you disclose. All Developers must have an industry standard privacy policy in place that accurately describes the specifics of data usage and meets applicable legal and consent requirements.

If data is breached, exposed, exploited, or otherwise compromised through your application or company, you must inform all affected users and DailyStory immediately at security@dailystory.com
